Elliot is a sound designer, musician and artist woking under the name Ovel Sound. He is based in Cambridge, UK

He's responded intimately to sound from as early on as he can remember, developing this relationship through years of creative practices - playing in bands, recording his own material, spending all his money on a superfluous degree, and establishing a large collection of his own self-recorded sounds for professional use.

Elliot's interests lie in sound for the screen and the practical application of sound: film, animation, podcasts, installations, and sonic spaces  - he loves a design challenge. 

 

He's spent an unhealthy amount of time recording in the field and twisting his collections into sensitively re-worked compositions. He won't shut up about the power of good sound to the human ear and its remarkable use as a tool for storytelling.
